The IRB My Case portal will move to a new sign-in platform

​My Case, the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) portal for sharing documents with the counsel community, is being updated to improve security by adding two-factor authentication (2FA). 2FA is a recognized security best practice used to protect devices and accounts.

Easy steps to bring 2FA to My Case

  • My Case has been moved to
  • all My Case users must sign in to their account and link it to the new sign-in platform
  • users who sign in with GCKey will be asked to set up a second verification factor to gain access to My Case

My Case users who need additional assistance can contact the My Case Help Desk by email or by calling 1-833-777-2433 from 8 am to 5 pm, ET, Monday to Friday.

The IRB is confident that My Case will continue to offer the counsel community convenient, secure access to their case information and allow the Board to build a more user-centric and modern administrative tribunal.
